Job summary

Pregis is seeking an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician in Reno, NV to maintain machinery and packaging equipment on a 7PM-7AM 2-2-3 shift. You’ll perform planned and unplanned maintenance, read schematics, and document work orders in CMMS.

The role requires troubleshooting PLC and AC/DC drives, adherence to OSHA and MSS, and on-call emergency response. Candidates should have a high school diploma and technical training; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Maintain machinery by completing planned and unplanned maintenance tasks.
• Read electrical schematics and service manuals to perform repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document in CMMS.
• Follow OSHA, MSS, and SOPs; maintain a safe work area.
• Respond to on-call emergency repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machinery and equipment on production, packaging, and processing lines.
• Troubleshoot PLC and AC/DC drive systems to restore operations.
• On-call for emergency repairs and quick restorations.
• Read and interpret procedures, schematics, and work orders.
• Document work orders and maintenance in CMMS accurately.
• Maintain line support systems and inventory; report shortages.
• Uphold safety standards and proper housekeeping in the shop.
• Collaborate with other departments during shift transitions.
• Adhere to SOPs and safety protocols set by Pregis.
