Pacific Cheese, a long-standing family-owned business in Reno, NV, is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for 1st shift starting at 4:00am, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 years’ experience in electrical (480V and Control 120/24V DC).
• Familiar with conveyor systems, background in ladder logic.
• Background in food packaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC and variable speed drive controlled high speed production equipment and batch processes.
• Maintain the power distribution of plant equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment, using precision measurement tools.
• Interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
• Analyze process data and make decisions on equipment maintenance and improvement activities.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) to increase equipment reliability and up-time.
• Utilize online service maintenance application to document and track maintenance and parts.
