Job summary

AriensCo is seeking motivated and experienced 1st shift Machine Operators to work with equipment such as brake presses, lasers, and automated presses. The position pays $18 per hour and runs Monday to Thursday (10‑hour days) with occasional Fridays.

You will perform safe operation of machines, read blueprints, verify parts with gauges, complete production paperwork, and support the team to meet daily goals. Solid teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Working knowledge of blueprint reading.
• Capability to perform multiple fabrication processes while adhering to standard work.
• Ability to stand for eight hours or more a day.
• Manual dexterity to position parts in place using hands.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment.
• Team‑player; able to work as part of a team.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of machines and tools.
• Live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles.
• Verify parts are made correctly using functional gauges and devices.
• Complete required paperwork (in‑process verification, production control charts, and other work‑center documents).
• Use proper operating techniques that prevent machine damage and reduce tool wear.
• Perform TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) tasks to standard work.
• Operate machines or tools to standard work.
• Interpret blueprints to produce parts to specification.
• Assist team members in other areas to meet daily production goals.
• Problem‑solve effectively.
