Job summary

AriensCo is seeking motivated and experienced 1st shift Machine Operators to work with brake presses, lasers, and automated presses. Start pay is $18/hour with a 4 days x 10 hours schedule (4:30AM-3:00PM) and occasional Fridays.

You’ll operate machinery safely, read blueprints, and contribute to daily production goals in a team-centered environment. Join a company with a long-standing reputation and strong core values.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Working knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Capable of performing multiple fabrication processes adhering to standard work.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day and lift up to 35 pounds as needed.
• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of machine and tools.
• Verify parts are being made correctly with functional gauges/devices.
• Complete required paperwork (In Process Verifications, production control charts, etc.).
• Use proper operating techniques to prevent machine damage and tool wear.
• Perform TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) tasks to standard work.
• Operate machines/tools to standard work.
• Interpret blueprints to produce parts to print specifications.
• Assist teammates in other areas to meet daily production goals.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills when issues arise.
