Job summary

TekniPlex Winston-Salem is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician with open availability to support manufacturing operations on-site. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems while ensuring environmental compliance and safety.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on expertise in electro-mechanical environments, and the ability to work varied shifts with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• AS degree preferred in Electronics or Electro/Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• 3–5 years’ experience as Industrial Maintenance Electrician.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
• Knowledge of AC/DC drives, PLCs, power distribution and process control.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical instrumentation and process control systems and perform repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain records for regulations.
• Evaluate changes to improve machine health and reliability.
• Update prints and procedures and maintain documentation.
• Communicate with vendors and management about equipment issues.
