Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will troubleshoot problems, perform repairs, and help maintain the systems that keep production moving safely and efficiently.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, technical training or maintenance certification preferred, and 2–5 years of facilities or mechanical equipment maintenance experience. Pay rate is $28.00 to $35.00 per hour on 1st shift, with comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; technical training preferred.
• Experience reading manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment docs.
• 2–5 years of facilities or mechanical equipment maintenance experience.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative maintenance for tools, equipment, trucks, carts, forklifts, and facilities.
• Read equipment literature and perform troubleshooting.
• Order replacement parts and perform replacements when received.
• Participate in mechanical assembly when needed.
• Keep work areas organized, safe, and clean.
• Troubleshoot tools and equipment mechanically and electrically and take action.
• Perform facilities repairs and maintenance as directed.
