Job summary

Randstad is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a safety-first manufacturing team. You will maintain extrusion and injection molding equipment, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements to keep production at peak performance.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, changeovers, and parts repair, with a focus on safety and quality. High school education required; experience with heavy equipment and 12-hour shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience required.
• Experience with extrusion and injection molding equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
• Proficient with hand tools and machine repair tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on extrusion and injection molding equipment to ensure continuous operations.
• Execute preventive maintenance procedures and improve PM processes.
• Participate in changeovers and ensure efficient, correct execution.
• Repair and rebuild spare parts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and SOPs.
• Expand expertise through formal training and hands-on projects.

*This position is a 1st shift schedule: Ability to work a 12-hour, Monday - Thursday, day shift (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM), with availability for overtime on Fridays

Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform industrial maintenance for extrusion and injection molding manufacturing equipment to ensure uninterrupted and optimal operations.
• Preventative Maintenance: Execute and continuously improve preventative maintenance (PM) procedures.
• Changeovers: Participate in equipment changeovers, ensuring efficient and correct execution.
• Parts Repair: Repair and rebuild spare parts as needed.
• Compliance: Assure strict compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Continuous Learning: Expand your expertise through formal training and hands-on experience, including new equipment installations and modification projects.
