Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a high-performing manufacturing team in Georgia. You will maintain extrusion and injection molding equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and participate in changeovers to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires 3+ years of mechanical/electrical maintenance, blueprint reading skills, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Mechanical Maintenance experience.
• 3+ years Electrical Maintenance experience.
• 3+ years experience in Blueprint Reading or Schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial maintenance for extrusion and injection molding equipment.
• Execute and improve preventative maintenance procedures.
• Participate in equipment changeovers and ensure proper execution.
• Repair and rebuild spare parts as needed.
• Ensure strict safety, quality, and procedures compliance.
• Pursue ongoing learning and support new installations.

*This position is a 3rd shift shedule : Ability to work a 12-hour, Monday - Thursday, night shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), with availability for overtime on Fridays

salary: $62,400 - $68,640 per year

Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform industrial maintenance for extrusion and injection molding manufacturing equipment to ensure uninterrupted and optimal operations.
• Preventative Maintenance: Execute and continuously improve preventative maintenance (PM) procedures.
• Changeovers: Participate in equipment changeovers, ensuring efficient and correct execution.
• Parts Repair: Repair and rebuild spare parts as needed.
• Compliance: Assure strict compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, and operational procedures.
• Continuous Learning: Expand your expertise through formal training and hands-on experience, including new equipment installations and modification projects.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 75lbs
• standing for 12 hours at one time
• working up to 15 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
