Aerotek in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support automotive manufacturing equipment and automated systems, ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and reading blueprints. This is a 1st shift, on-site position with overtime potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance/PM on industrial equipment.
• Experience with hydraulic systems troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support production work cells to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose machine downtime, restore equipment to safe operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on work cells and equipment.
• Fabricate components and repair bearings as needed.
• Service hydraulic pumps and stirring/cooling pumps.
• Repair mills, conveyors, belts, drives, and material transfer systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and read schematics.
