Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Weekend Day Shift Automation Maintenance Technician in Grand Rapids, MI. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, repairing, and calibrating automated, robotic, and electro‑mechanical machinery in a metal stamping environment.

You will work a weekend day shift from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday through Sunday, performing preventative maintenance, documenting activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience installing, repairing, and calibrating production machinery, including automated and robotic systems.
• Hands-on experience with preventive and predictive maintenance on automated equipment.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, mechanical, and software-related issues in complex machinery.

Responsibilities

• Work a weekend day shift schedule from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday through Sunday.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and support production output.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, mechanical, and software issues in robotic systems.
