Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a 1st Shift Automation Maintenance Technician in Toledo, OH to maintain robotic welding equipment and related automation systems. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to support continuous production on a fully onsite operation.

You will work with Fanuc robots, read blueprints, and perform electrical work up to 480V, while collaborating with engineering to implement long-term fixes and improvements.

Qualifications

Experience performing maintenance on robotic welding equipment and automation systems.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues up to 480V.
Familiarity with robot troubleshooting, welding processes, and fabrication tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform cradle-to-grave maintenance on robotic welding equipment and conveyors.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including pneumatics and hydraulics.
Diagnose robot performance issues and fix homing or bead thickness faults.
Repair weld cells: replace sensors, tips, and adjust weld parameters.
Read blueprints and electrical diagrams to guide repairs and installations.
Work safely at heights up to 40 feet and manage 480V electrical work.
