Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in Grand Rapids to keep automotive components production lines running safely and efficiently.

You will perform preventive maintenance on injection molding equipment, diagnose electrical and hydraulic systems, and collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime. Training on blueprints is available, and the role offers a team-oriented environment with steady hours.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem solving.
• Experience with electrical and hydraulic systems required.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics (or willingness to learn).
• Understanding of preventative maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on injection molding and related manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues quickly and effectively.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints (training available if needed).
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machine downtime.
• Work closely with production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
