1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate
Position Details
- Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 30-35 hours/week
- Wage: Up to $18.00 - $24.00/hour (based on shift and schedule differential pay)
- Shift: 1st Shift - 7:00AM start
- Hiring Schedules: B / C / D
Schedules
- Schedule A1: Wed-Sun; off Mon-Tue. Pay: Year 1 - $24.00, Year 2 - $25.00, Year 3 - $26.00, Year 4 - $27.00
- Schedule A2: Fri-Tue; off Wed-Thu. Pay: same as above
- Schedule B: Rotating 3-week schedule, working weekends 2 of 3 weeks. Pay: Year 1 - $21.00, Year 2 - $22.00, Year 3 - $23.00, Year 4 - $24.00
- Schedule C: Rotating 4-week schedule, working alternate weekends. Pay: Year 1 - $19.50, Year 2 - $20.50, Year 3 - $21.50, Year 4 - $22.50
- Schedule D: Mon-Fri; off weekends. Pay: Year 1 - $18.00, Year 2 - $19.00, Year 3 - $20.00, Year 4 - $21.00
Responsibilities
- Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment and incoming trucks.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts.
- Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and management.
- Provide input on process improvements.
- Inspect products and address quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
- Operate equipment safely and independently within delegated areas.
- Assist in achieving warehouse goals.
- Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and according to policies.
- Follow ergonomic and safety procedures.
- Report product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, drive, and organization.
Skills and Education
- Ability to interpret policies.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 45 pounds regularly.
- Move merchandise and operate in varying temperatures.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
