Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a RTH Sanitation Associate to maintain a clean, food-safe environment in the kitchen and assembly areas. The role requires wearing proper PPE at all times and adhering to all health and safety regulations.

You will perform cleaning duties across multiple areas and support GMP and SQF programs. The position emphasizes daily sanitation of racks, sinks, floors, benches, and equipment, with emphasis on consistent, thorough cleaning and proper chemical handling.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working in the food industry.
• General high school degree, or equivalent, (e.g. GED).

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and food safety in kitchen and assembly areas.
• Wear PPE at all times and follow health and safety regulations.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks across RTH areas: trash removal, floor cleaning, rack wiping, and surface sanitizing.
• Clean and sanitize equipment such as blast chillers, ovens, MAP machines, and sanitunnels following SOPs.
• Maintain and stock cleaning supplies and PPE in all sizes.
• Test sanitizer to ensure proper levels and maintain GMP and SQF compliance.
