Job summary

Resource Label Group is hiring a 1st Shift Flexo Press Assistant in Buffalo. You will support Press Operators with setup, maintenance, and cleanup of presses, learning a skilled trade in the printing industry. Onsite training is provided, with growth potential across the organization.

Pay rate ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience. Schedule is 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and minimum 2 years related experience in manufacturing.
• Experience as a Press Assistant in printing is a plus.
• Ability to read rulers and measurement devices; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, maintenance, and cleanup of presses.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and minor adjustments.
• Handle SDS compliance and hazardous chemical disposal as needed.
• Support pressroom operations and communicate with supervisors.
• Contribute ideas for productivity, quality, and scrap reduction.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work area.
