Job summary

Tyson Foods in Robards, Kentucky is hiring for a 1st shift General Worker. This entry level role involves cleaning, assisting with ingredient receiving, and maintaining a safe, tidy work area in a high-dust feed mill environment.

You will haul and move materials, operate basic equipment, wear PPE, and adapt to hot, dusty, and wet conditions. Shift flexibility, weekend work, and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Entry level general labor position at Tyson Foods.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs, up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and clean assigned areas and sign off when complete.
• Assist with unloading ingredients from rail cars and trucks.
• Clean up feed spills and maintain clean work areas.
• Operate PPE and high pressure wash where required and follow safety procedures.
• Move pallets with PIT and maintain housekeeping in work areas.
