The position requires the ability to lift up to 60–100 lbs with assistance and to work in varied environmental conditions. Applicants must be prepared to work 1st shift, holidays, weekends, and comply with biosecurity guidelines.

Qualifications

• Entry level non-skilled general labor experience considered
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and/or 100 lbs with assistance
• Comfort working in hot, dusty, wet, or cold environments
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and varied shifts
• Must follow Tyson Safety and Biosecurity guidelines

Responsibilities

• Sweep and clean assigned mill areas and sign off when completed
• Assist with unloading ingredients from rail cars and trucks
• Clean up feed spills and maintain clean work areas
• Perform groundkeeping duties using mowers and trimmers
• Use air-driven tools to assist cleaning and maintenance
• Operate high-pressure water hoses for cleaning of areas
• Move pallets with a forklift or pallet jack as needed
• Wear PPE including hearing protection and follow safety procedures
• Work in elevated areas and adhere to safety protocols
• Communicate with operations, customers, and vendors as required
• Support adherence to Tyson Health and Safety protocols
• Sign and comply with company biosecurity guidelines
• Maintain good housekeeping in service areas
• Assist with general tasks assigned by management
