Kemps in Cedarburg, Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated warehouse operator for a split role: two days as an order picker and two days loading trucks, all within a cooler environment.

The position features a 1st shift with start times at 4am or 6am, 10–12 hour rotating shifts. Expected duties include safe operation of equipment, basic arithmetic, and lifting up to 50 pounds while contributing to team success.

Qualifications

• Able to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend for long shifts.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stack/move cases up to 6–8 high.
• Work in a wet environment at 35–40°F.
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• May be exposed to cleaning chemicals.

Description

Kemps has immediate job openings for fast paced and motivated warehouse operators. In this role this person will spend 2 days a week as an order selector, and 2 days a week loading trucks. Our warehouse operators are responsible for safely operating various material and handling equipment and machinery within our cooler environment.

SCHEDULE: First Shift, 4am or 6am Start Time, 10-12 hour shifts, rotating schedule

Requirements

• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be ableto lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high
• Must be able to work in a wet environment and work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35–40 degrees Fahrenheit
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals
