Job summary

Kemps is seeking a Caseroom Associate in Cedarburg, WI to support warehouse operations during the 2pm–10pm shift. You will unload, count, and organize returns, while ensuring the bottling line runs smoothly in a cold environment.

Qualified candidates must pass pre-employment screenings, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and work overtime including weekends. Benefits include a 401(k) plan, vacation, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, and bend throughout shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stack cases up to 6-8 high.
• Comfortable working in a 35–40°F wet environment and overtime.”

Responsibilities

• Unload cases, pallets, returns and remove items from trailers.
• Maintain accurate counts of returned cases and pallets.
• Keep bottling machines supplied with clean, sanitized cases.
• Operate the case washer and sanitize equipment safely.

SHIFT: 2pm to 10pm, Monday-Friday, some weekend overtime and weekend work may be required

WAGES FOR THIS ROLE: $27.71, After 1 year $30.75/hr

POSITION TASKS:

• Unload cases, pallets, return product, and remove unwanted items from returning truck trailers.
• Keep an accurate count of cases and pallets that return on the truck trailers.
• Keep the bottling machines supplied with clean and sanitized cases.
• Operate the case washer and related sanitizing equipment in a safe manner.
• Perform cleanup on the case washer and other cleaning / sanitizing equipment daily.

Requirements

• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be ableto lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high
• Must be able to work in a wet environment and work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals
