Job summary

Kemps, a farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), is hiring warehouse operators in Wisconsin. The role splits time: two days a week as an order selector and two days loading trucks, with early 4am or 6am starts and 10–12 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Basic math and unit conversion required.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, criminal).
• Stamina to stand/walk and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stack/move cases.
• Work in a wet, 35–40°F environment.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays.

Kemps has immediate job openings for fast paced and motivated warehouse operators. In this role this person will spend 2 days a week as an order selector, and 2 days a week loading trucks. Our warehouse operators are responsible for safely operating various material and handling equipment and machinery within our cooler environment.

SCHEDULE:

First Shift, 4am or 6am Start Time, 10-12 hour shifts, rotating schedule

• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checksMust be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high
• Must be able to work in a wet environment and work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals
