Job summary

Fresh Mark Incorporated in Massillon, OH is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a 1st Shift. The role maintains and repairs cold storage equipment, material handling systems, refrigeration support equipment, and facility utilities to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in industrial or cold storage environments and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

Hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in industrial, warehouse, cold storage or manufacturing environments.
1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience in cold storage, warehouse, manufacturing, food processing, distribution, or similar environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Adhere to food safety, workplace safety, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain and support critical cold storage utility systems including ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, boilers and fire suppression.
Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on industrial mechanical and electrical equipment (compressors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors).
Monitor refrigeration and utility system performance to ensure proper temperatures.
Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
Diagnose failures, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders.
