Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with progressive type cold headers; National headers preferred.
• Prior Tow Motor experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers and other gauges.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate progressive type cold headers.
• Change tooling for job setup and replace broken tooling.
• Retrieve tooling from Tool & Die and return for repair.
• Manual straighten steel coil, butt weld and grind end before loading.
• Adjust machine settings to meet specifications.
• Read shop orders and produce parts to blueprint specs.
• Use gauges to verify parts meet quality standards.
• Enter production in kiosk and move products to next operation.
• Perform daily machine maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace, following health and safety rules.
