Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Roll Thread Setup Operator for the 1st shift in Elyria, OH. You will set up and operate the Roll Thread machine, change tooling, pull from Tool Crib, and document sign-out details while ensuring parts meet specs.

You will read shop orders, use gauges for quality checks, enter production data, perform routine machine maintenance, and keep a safe, clean workspace. 8–10 hour days, with lifting requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Roll Thread operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior Tow Motor experience.
• Prior experience using gauges preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
• Ability to stand/walk 8–10 hours daily.
• Bend, lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 200 pounds.
• Use hand tools up to 20 pounds for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate Roll Thread machine.
• Change tooling for job setup, replace tooling and adjust as needed.
• Pull tooling from Tool Crib and document on the tooling sign-out sheet.
• Adjust machine setting as required.
• Read & interpret shop orders to produce parts to specifications.
• Use gauges to check product and ensure quality specs.
• Enter production into kiosk and move product to next operation.
• Perform daily maintenance on machines.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace; follow health and safety rules.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
