Production Saw & Machine in Michigan is seeking an experienced CNC Setup Machinist for our Short Run team. You will set up jobs from start to finish, load tooling, and coordinate with Quality and Engineering to ensure smooth runs.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years of CNC setup experience, strong G-code proficiency, and hands-on experience with Lathe, Mills, and Machining Center setups. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and a supportive, family-like culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC setup experience.
• Proficient in G-code programming at the machine.
• Proficient in job setup from initial stages to jaws/work holding, tool setup, and programming.
• Confident in interpreting blueprints.
• Knowledgeable with Lathe, Mills and Machining Center setups.

Responsibilities

• Set up jobs from start to finish.
• Communicate with Quality and Engineering for efficient runs.
• Operate CNC machines between setup tasks.
• Meet or exceed efficiency and production rate requirements.
• Troubleshoot quality and machine concerns.
• Maintain machine integrity through maintenance and housekeeping.
