Job summary

Production Saw & Machine Co. is seeking an experienced CNC Setup Machinist to join our Short Run team in Michigan. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of CNC setup experience, be proficient in G-code at the machine, and capable of handling setup from jaws to tooling and programming.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of CNC setup experience.
• Proficient in G-Code programming at the machine.
• Proficient in job setup from initial stages to jaws/work holding, tool setup, and programming.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Experience on Lathe, Mills, and Machining Center setups.

Responsibilities

• Set up jobs from start to finish on CNC equipment.
• Communicate with Quality and Engineering to ensure efficient runs.
• Operate CNC machines between setup tasks.
• Meet or exceed efficiency and production rate goals.
• Troubleshoot quality and machine concerns; document data.
