Job summary

Production Saw & Machine in Michigan is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our Short Run team. The ideal candidate will set up jobs from start to finish and work on Lathe, Mills, and Machining Center setups.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC setup experience.
• Proficient in job set-up from jaws/work holding to tool setup and G-code programming.
• Ability to interpret blueprints with confidence.
• Experience on Lathe, Mills, and Machining Center setups.

Responsibilities

• Setting up jobs from start to finish.
• Communicating with Quality and Engineering to ensure efficient and proper runs.
• Operating CNC machines between setup tasks.
• Meeting or exceeding efficiency and production rate requirements.
• Maintaining the mechanical integrity of the machine through maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
• Collecting and documenting data.
