Qualifications

• 5–10 years CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines.
• Experience with Okuma, Mori Seiki, Haas, Mazak, or similar CNC equipment.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, speeds/feeds, and precision techniques.
• Ability to independently set up jobs and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Experience manufacturing tight-tolerance precision components.
• Proficiency reading blueprints, drawings, and GD&T.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments and performing quality inspections.
• Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills and effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and machining centers to manufacture high-precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions.
• Independently perform machine setups using prints and process documentation.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Select and utilize appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and work-holding methods.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced machinists and operators.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and quality expectations.
