Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is hiring a Temporary Cleaner for 1st Shift at 6:00am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves a broad range of custodial duties to maintain building cleanliness and safety.

The position requires no prior experience; you will work under supervision, follow established procedures, and use standard cleaning tools and equipment, including backpack vacuums, to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities requires no previous experience.
• Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Use a portable vacuum cleaner – back pack style.
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; dust furniture and fixtures; clean high surfaces as directed.
• Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily.
• Collect building trash daily and dispose in approved area.
• Report defects to supervisors and replace liners as needed.
