Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring a 1st Shift Brazer in San Antonio to execute fit up, fabrication and brazing for standard models in a manufacturing facility. You will work with headers, torches, and brazing equipment, maintaining quality and safety standards while documenting tasks and progress.

The position requires high school education or equivalent, experience with metalworking machinery, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or certifications.
• Experience with brazing, metalworking, and related safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Apply fit up, fabricate, and braze materials for standard models.
• Operate brazing torch, adjust gas and flame, and control filler rod.
• Inspect braze joints for leaks and quality.
• Read prints and specs, ensure accuracy of tasks.
• Maintain safety and 5S Kaizen practices.
