Job summary

Yaskawa America, Inc. - Drives & Motion Division in Wisconsin is hiring Assemblers for1st shift, Mon-Thu 5 am to 3 pm. On-the-job training provided; benefit eligibility on day one.

As an assembler, you will wire, solder and assemble components, perform stripping, crimping and cutting operations related to wires, and make small mechanical adjustments as required. A high school diploma or GED is required, and one year of manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related work experience.
• One year mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write English, add, subtract, count and record with extreme accuracy, measure, multiply and divide whole numbers efficiently and follow instructions.
• Consistently perform work in a timely, safe, and thorough manner.
• Responds well to changes and demonstrates initiative.
• Accepts responsibility for actions and work performed. Generally has a positive attitude.
• Functions well in a work team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, wires, solders
• Performs all stripping, crimping, and cutting operations related to wires, regardless of size.
• Makes mechanical adjustments as required.
