Job summary

ArtiFlex Manufacturing is seeking a Die Casting Operator for a first shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday) at our Falcon Lakeside Facility in Eau Claire, Michigan. You will operate cold chamber die casting machines to produce precision aluminum parts and ensure tight tolerances.

The role requires at least 1 year of die casting or metal manufacturing experience, the ability to read blueprints and quality docs, and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of die casting or metal manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with tight-tolerance casting processes and automotive specs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a hot, industrial environment.
• Ability to lift up to fifty pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cold chamber die casting machines producing precision aluminum parts.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and surface quality.
• Perform in-process quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Assist in die changes and routine machine maintenance.
• Identify and report process or quality issues to the shift supervisor or quality team.
• Adhere to safety and ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 quality standards.
