Job summary

Bonnell-Aluminum in Michigan seeks an EO1 to operate the extrusion press on 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with Friday/Saturday as needed). You will run the press, perform die changes, inspect parts, and keep the area clean and safe.

Requirements include reading a tape measure, using an overhead crane and micrometers, lifting up to 50 pounds, and reading shop orders. HS Diploma/GED and a skills-based test are required; team-focused, safety-minded professionals thrive here.

Qualifications

• Must be able to run an aluminum extrusion press and perform die changes.
• Must read and understand a tape measure and read shop orders.
• Must be able to operate the overhead crane and use micrometers.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and pass a skills-based test.
• HS Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Run the Extrusion Press, Saw, Stretcher, Forklift or Overhead Crane.
• Inspect parts and monitor press scrap.
• Perform temperature monitoring and visual checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation in a collaborative environment.
• Notify Supervisor of equipment problems and assist as needed.
