Job summary

Kelly is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support aluminum die casting manufacturing operations. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, with experience in PLC-controlled equipment and welding/fabrication as needed. A Monday-Friday first shift in Wood Dale, IL, with overtime on Saturdays, offers a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment preferred.
• Basic welding and fabrication experience.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on aluminum die casting machines, furnaces, trim presses, and auxiliary equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and cylinders.
• Inspect and maintain furnaces, ladles, cooling systems, and die temperature control units.
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, robotics, and automated production equipment.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and machine repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and electrical components.
• Maintain plant utility systems including air compressors, cooling towers, and water systems.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
• Support production teams with equipment adjustments and troubleshooting.
