Job summary

Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences, seeks a 1st Shift AFL Robust Operator at our Ridgeway, SC facility. Schedule: 5:00am to 1:30pm, Mon-Fri, with overtime on weekends. Compensation: $18.25 per hour. The role operates the laminate-cutting machine and supports ISO quality and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.

Responsibilities include quality checks, safety audits, 5S maintenance, meeting due dates, and collaborating with maintenance to resolve issues. Prior SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Machine operation experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow work instructions and SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the machine that cuts laminate sheets.
• Ensure materials processed meet quality criteria.
• Perform safety and quality audits as assigned.
• Maintain a clean 5S work area.
• Manage cut and packed orders to meet customer due dates.
• Communicate with maintenance when equipment issues arise.
• Comply with ISO and manufacturing procedures.
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma to improve the process.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
