Job summary

Isola Group is hiring a 2nd Shift AIKI Robust Operator for our Ridgeway, SC facility. The role involves operating the machine that cuts laminate sheets on a 1:00pm to 9:30pm schedule, Monday through Friday, with overtime and weekend opportunities.

You will ensure materials meet quality criteria, perform safety and quality audits, keep a clean 5S workspace, and coordinate with maintenance on equipment issues while adhering to ISO procedures and lean methodologies.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly.
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials processed conform to industry quality criteria.
• Perform Safety and Quality Audits as assigned.
• Maintain a clean work area in accordance with 5S criteria.
• Manage the orders being cut and packed to ensure customer due dates are met.
• Effectively communicates with maintenance when equipment problems arise.
• Ensure full compliance with ISO and manufacturing visual and written procedures.

• Use Lean/Six Sigma Methodologies to improve the process.
• All employees will be required to participate in training and continuous improvement events.

Job Description

Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a2nd Shift AIKI Robust Operator at our Ridgeway, SC facility.

Schedule:1:00pm to 9:30pm Monday to Friday (Overtime, extended shift and weekend overtime work required)

Compensation: $18.25 per hour (plus $1.25 per hour shift differential)

THE ROLE

The AFL Operator is responsible for operating the machine that cuts laminate sheets.

TOP RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that the materials processed conform to industry quality criteria.
• Perform Safety and Quality Audits as assigned.
• Maintain a clean work area in accordance with established 5"S" criteria.
• Manage the orders being cut and packed to ensure customer due dates are being met.
• Effectively communicates with maintenance when equipment problems arise.
• Ensure full compliance with ISO and manufacturing visual and written procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous machine operating experience- required.
• Previous experience with work instructions, work orders, and SAP- preferred

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS

• In this role you maybe be required to stand up to 10 hours per shift and with frequent bending, reaching, and grasping. You will also need to lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds.
