Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging 1st grade math, language arts, and social studies lessons using the school’s established curriculum and pacing guides.
• Assess student learning, monitor progress, and provide timely, meaningful feedback.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic and developmental needs of students.
• Communicate effectively with students, grade-level colleagues, and administrators.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and continuity of instruction.
• Uphold school policies and contribute to a supportive school culture.
• Maintain clear classroom routines and expectations.
• Performs other related duties as directed by school administration, such as lunchroom duty, aftercare, etc
