Job summary

Care With Heart in Michigan seeks Home Health Aides to provide in-home care for clients. Work one-on-one with a single client, delivering hands-on care, companionship, and basic medical support in a calm, unrushed setting.

Shift work is available with flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and weekly compensation. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and be able to travel within the service area.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a High School Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver`s license are required.
• Willingness to travel within the service area and work effectively in a team.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and clear background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patients' residences.
• Perform domestic and household tasks as needed.
• Accompany patients to doctors' appointments or hospital visits.
• Administer simple prescribed medications as directed.
• Assist with personal care activities.
• Monitor patient condition (vital signs, temperature, respiration) and report changes.
• Maintain patient care records and document services provided.
• Assist with mobility and basic therapies/exercises.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
