Job summary

Care With Heart is seeking Home Health Aides to provide compassionate in-home care for clients. You will work with one client at a time, delivering hands-on care, monitoring health, and offering companionship in a low-stress setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, mobility support, medications administration, and documenting care. A flexible schedule, supportive team, and opportunities for training are offered.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, essential for interacting with clients and families.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Willingness to travel within the service area as required.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patients' residences
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Accompany patients to doctors' offices or to hospital
• Administer simple prescribed medications
• Assist with clients' personal care activities
• Monitor patients' vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc., and report on their condition
• Maintain patients' care records and document provided services
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
• Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
