BAMSI, a Brockton-based nonprofit, is seeking a Residential Counselor to support adults in group living environments in Attleboro, MA. You will implement treatment plans, supervise daily living activities, and coordinate with clinicians under supervision to promote independence and safety.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and strong English communication. Training in MAP or trauma-informed care is a plus; entry is non-exempt with weekend availability.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.75 Hourly

Title: Residential Counselor - MAP

Schedule: 16 hrs: Sat: 2:30p-11:30p and Sun 3p-10p

FLSA: Non Exempt

What You’ll Do: Provide rehabilitative support to adults in Group Living Environments (GLE), fostering skills for daily living and community integration. Key responsibilities include:

• TeachADLs(cooking, budgeting, medication management) and socialization skills.
• ImplementTreatment Plansand behavioral interventions under clinician guidance.
• Administer/supervise medications perMAP guidelinesand document care.
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
• Advocate for residents’ needs and model healthy coping strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment and complete timely documentation.

What You Bring:

• High school diploma/GED; mental health experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with mobility (bending, standing, etc.).
• Strong communication skills (English) and basic computer proficiency.
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to trauma-informed care.
• Bonus : Lived experience or multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese).
