Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking Safety Interns for a 12-week Summer 2027 internship across multiple nationwide locations, including Augusta, GA. Interns will engage with EH&S professionals, participate in safety investigations, and gain hands-on exposure to safety, health, and environment practices at manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program).
• Ability to relocate per program requirements.
• Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2028; legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Interact with EH&S professionals to connect classroom learnings to a real-world site.
• Streamline safety processes and procedures.
• Participate in incident investigations, chemical monitoring, or safety inspections.
• Gain experience in safe work practices, emergency response, and injury-free operations.
• Understand and apply Principle Based Management.
