Job summary

Belmont Charter Network is seeking a part-time Custodian to maintain clean, safe, functional, and secure school facilities in line with district policies. This 12-month posting reports to the Custodial Manager and supports events, inventory, and a positive school image.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred custodial experience, and PA clearances. Candidates must be able to stand, lift, and work in varied conditions to support Belmont’s educational mission.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• PA clearances required: Act 151, Act 114, Act 168.
• Custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy weights.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial cleaning duties in assigned areas as scheduled.
• Support the cleaning of all areas of buildings and grounds upon request.
• Provide services to support curricular and extracurricular events and activities.
• Maintain an inventory of custodial supplies/equipment and report usage data.
• Project a positive image for the school with the team at all times.
• On-call work for emergencies or special requests outside normal hours.
• Own the school campus by keeping all areas clean and organized.
• Accept other duties as assigned by Custodial Manager or Director of Centralized Operations.
