Job summary

Foxborough Regional Charter School District is seeking a part-time School Custodian to maintain a clean, safe facility at the Foxborough campus. Responsibilities include daily cleaning of classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas, plus building security and closing procedures.

The role supports after-hours events, grounds upkeep, snow removal, and coordination with the Facilities Manager. A High School diploma or equivalent, good communication, physical stamina, and ability to operate

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical ability to perform custodial tasks (lift up to 70 lbs) and operate cleaning equipment.
Valid driver’s license or access to reliable transportation.
Ability to read and follow safety rules and instructions.

Responsibilities

Clean school building areas: classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, gym, cafeteria and library.
Perform general duties: sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning and restocking supplies.
Assist with after-hours building rentals and events.
Perform grounds maintenance and snow/ice removal as needed.
Close and secure the building at end of shift and ensure alarms are set.
