Northern Kentucky University (NKU) in Highland Heights, KY invites applications for a full-time Assistant Teaching Professor and Clinical Coordinator in the Cardiovascular Perfusion Program. The role combines teaching with oversight of clinical components, developing relationships with clinical partners to enhance perfusion education, and participating in university service and committees.

The ideal candidate will be a perfusionist with strong science and research background and prior teaching

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in perfusion from an accredited institution; doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of five years as a perfusionist.
• Minimum of 3 years pedagogical teaching experience in science courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach face-to-face courses in the program; some online delivery may occur.
• Engage in student recruitment, guidance, instruction and evaluation.
• Assist program director with outcomes planning, implementation and evaluation; aid in course development.
• Recruit and maintain clinical sites; coordinate contracts and preceptors.
• Participate in committees and service activities at program, school, college and university level.
