Job summary

Northern Kentucky University’s School of Allied Health seeks a full-time Clinical Coordinator and Assistant Teaching Professor for the Cardiovascular Perfusion Program. The role combines teaching with coordinating clinical components and cultivating clinical partners to enhance perfusion education.

The ideal candidate has a perfusion background, strong science/research experience, and prior teaching across the perfusion curriculum, including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and research

Qualifications

Master’s degree (doctorate preferred) in perfusion; related sciences emphasized.
Minimum of five years as a perfusionist.
Minimum of 3 years pedagogical teaching experience in an academic setting.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Commitment to NKU mission and program.

Responsibilities

Teach face-to-face courses, with some online components.
Recruit, guide, and evaluate students; engage in program outcomes.
Support program director with planning and evaluation.
Assist in course development and clinical contract coordination.
Participate in committees across program, school, college, and university.
Manage relationships with clinical sites and preceptors.
