Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education or GED.
• Basic Life Support within 30 days as a condition of employment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English clearly.
• Basic computer skills and medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provides clear, timely communication to the RN regarding observations and changes seen in patients.
• Maintains constant observation of high-risk patients as assigned.
• Assists with daily living activities and ambulation for patients.
• Assists in moving, lifting, and transporting patients using proper safety techniques.
• Performs unit-specific procedures and supports treatment setups as directed.
