Job summary

Pasadena Independent School District in Pasadena, Texas, is seeking a dedicated school bus driver to transport students safely to and from school. The role requires a CDL with P&S endorsements, being 21 years or older, and passing a criminal history background check and DOT physical.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, follow routes, coordinate rider needs with the supervisor, and maintain CDL and certification. A signing bonus is available for permanent CDL holders.

Qualifications

BUS DRIVER

DUTY DAYS: 179 days

PAY GRADE: N07

SALARY SCHEDULE: Click for Salary Schedule $300. Signing Bonus!!!!! for permanent bus drivers with a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement.

Primary Purpose

Transport and route school buses to ensure safe, efficient, economical transportation of students.

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred


• 21 years of age

• Must posses CDL with P&S endorcements, or able to obtain prior to employment


• Must pass criminal history background check


• Must pass pre-employment D.O.T physical and drug test

• Completion of 20 hour bus driver certification course, employed at least thirty days as a bus driver in Pasadena ISD

Major Responsibilities And Duties
