Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Littleford Blender Operator at our Wayland, MI facility. The role supports the Production team, driving improvements and ensuring safe, efficient blending operations on the 1st shift (8:00 AM–4:00 PM).

You will learn and operate lift trucks, weigh ingredients, and perform basic quality checks while maintaining strict records and following GMP/HACCP and LOTO procedures. A commitment to food safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience following instructions/process documents and communicating clearly.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Ability to perform basic Quality Control testing.
• Ability to follow blending sequences accurately and maintain efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate lift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Weigh ingredients using Metric/US weight conversions.
• Perform basic Quality Control testing for the department.

About the Role

The Littleford Blender Operator at the Wayland location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant.

You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Be able to learn to operate lift trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ability to weigh ingredients using Metric/American weigh conversion.
• With the ability to accurately perform basic Quality Control testing for the department.
• Must be able to accurately follow blending sequence and maintain blending efficiencies.
• Must demonstrate the ability to legibly and accurately complete all associated record keeping necessary for the Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by TreeHouse Foods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Important Details

This is a full-time position on 1st shift, Monday through Friday. 1st shift operates 8am to 4pm

• The ability to work overtime and weekends
