Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in Wayland, MI, is seeking a Littleford Blender Operator to support the production team on 1st shift (8am–4pm). This full-time role requires operating a blender, weighing ingredients, and ensuring compliance with GMP/HACCP and safety programs as part of our trusted production operations.

You will learn blending sequences, complete accurate records, and contribute to quality and efficiency in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Experience following process documents and maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Commitment to food safety, GMP, HACCP and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate lift trucks safely.
• Weight ingredients using metric/US conversions and perform basic QC checks.

Job Description:

About the Role:

The Littleford Blender Operator at the Wayland location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Be able to learn to operate lift trucks in a safe and efficient manner.


• Ability to weigh ingredients using Metric/American weigh conversion. With the ability to accurately perform basic Quality Control testing for the department.


• Must be able to accurately follow blending sequence and maintain blending efficiencies.


• Must demonstrate the ability to legibly and accurately complete all associated record keeping necessary for the Pharmaceutical Industry.


• Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by TreeHouse Foods.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Important Details:

This is a full-time position on 1st shift, Monday through Friday.

• 1st shift operates 8am to 4pm
