Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in Wayland, MI is seeking a Quadcone Operator to support the Production team on the 2nd shift. You will weigh ingredients, perform basic QC testing, and assist with cross-training in Littleford blending to improve plant performance.

You will maintain accurate records for food safety and quality, ensure line efficiencies, and follow GMP, HACCP, LOTO, and other safety programs. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and adherence to our standards.

Qualifications

• Experience following processes and documents with clear communication.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Commitment to food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Weigh ingredients and convert measurements (Metric/US).
• Perform basic quality control testing for the Quadcone Department.
• Cross-training in Littleford blending is required.
• Complete all record keeping for the pharmaceutical industry language and accuracy.
• Maintain or exceed established line efficiencies.
• Adhere to GMPs, HACCP, LOTO, and safety programs.

About the Role

The Quadcone Operator at the Wayland location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Ability to weigh ingredients using Metric/American weight conversion.
• The ability to accurately perform basic Quality Control testing for the Quadcone Department.
• Ability to cross‑training in Littleford blending is required.
• Must demonstrate the ability to legibly and accurately complete all associated record keeping necessary for the Pharmaceutical Industry.
• Must be able to maintain or exceed established line efficiencies.
• Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, and foods safety programs established by Bay Valley Foods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Important Details

This is a full-time position on 2nd shift, working Monday thru Friday.

• 2nd shift operates 4pm to 12am

Shift differential included for 2nd and 3rd shift.

About You

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
• Experience with operating a sit‑down forklift
• The ability to work overtime and weekends
• All employees are responsible for the quality and food safety of all products produced in this facility.
