Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a federal construction management system. You will conduct sessions for personnel, project managers, engineering staff, and external contractors, in both virtual and in-person settings.

This role requires strong classroom facilitation, experience with software and business-process training, and the ability to support large-scale organizational change across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• US Citizen status required.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong facilitation and classroom management abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt instructional techniques to varying audiences.
• Ability to work independently and within a geographically dispersed training team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Conduct training in accordance with lesson plans and instructional guidelines.
• Respond to participant questions and provide guidance during training.
• Maintain engaging and well-managed classroom environments.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate course schedules and logistics with Training/Program Managers.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect student feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Recommend continuous improvements for training methods and materials.
• Represent the training team with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
